- After login, create new user with password.
mysql> CREATE USER 'root'@'%' IDENTIFIED BY 'rjyWzEz7A3=r66';
Query OK, 0 rows affected (0.08 sec)
- Give the privileges
mysql> GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON *.* TO 'root'@'%';
Query OK, 0 rows affected (0.10 sec)
Now you can try to log in remotely. It is said on the Internet that the value of bind_address in the configuration file needs to be changed. I did not find it here but it does not prevent me from logging in remotely.
